With Amigurumio, you can choose the pieces, customize the layout and change the colors. Then download the pattern to get the complete instructions to crochet your own animal.

Select a free or premium pattern

Download the full crochet instructions for your Amigurumio pattern. Both the free and premium PDF patterns include the full instructions for your custom pattern. The premium PDF also includes images, color and a crochet techniques guide.

Use a coupon

If you have a coupon, click on “Have a coupon?” to input your coupon code. You will then be able to download a premium PDF pattern.

What if I don’t have a credit card?

If you don’t have access to a credit card or prefer a different method of payment, follow these steps:

1. Edit your crochet design until you are happy with it. You can use the crochet pattern generator to update the layout, pieces and colors.
2. Save your design by clicking on the kebab menu in the top right and selecting Save the Design. Please save the URL provided and contact support. We can offer alternative payment methods to pay for your design.

Even if you choose a free PDF pattern, you will receive a link to return to your design at any time so you have the choice to also download a premium PDF pattern.

Free PDF Pattern

After you design your PDF pattern with Amigurumio, you have the choice of downloading a premium or free PDF pattern. The free PDF pattern includes the complete instruction of your custom pattern. You will receive a PDF that you can use on your computer, phone or tablet. Or you can print out the pattern.

Premium PDF Pattern

You can choose to download a premium PDF pattern. After you complete the payment, the premium PDF pattern will be sent to your email. You will receive:

1. Complete crochet pattern
2. Amigurumi crochet guide
3. Color PDF

The premium PDF pattern makes a great gift or is perfect for anyone that wants to visualize the crochet pattern they are making.

You will receive a PDF that you can use on your computer, phone, tablet. Or you can print out the pattern.

Upgrade from a Free Pattern to a Premium Pattern

If you choose to download a free PDF pattern, you will receive an email with your download and a link to return to your design. At any time, you can return to your design and make changes or download a premium PDF.

Saving Your Design

When you save your design with Amigurumio, you’ll get a URL link that you can use to return to your design. Your pieces, positioning and colours will be saved in that link.

To save your design:

1. Click on the kebab menu in the top right
2. Select Save the Design
3. Copy the URL provided or click Email the link to send the link to your email

To return to your pattern, simply go to the URL. Your design will show up exactly as you left it.

Sharing Your Design

When you share your design, you’ll get a URL link that you can use on social media, email or anywhere else that accepts a URL. Anyone can use that URL to get to your design. They can then download the pattern or edit the design (but their edits will not impact the design that you can access from your link).

To share your design:

1. Click on Share button
2. Copy the URL provided and share via email, social media or anywhere else.

To access your pattern, simply go to the URL. Your design will show up exactly as you left it. If you change the design, you can save or share your updated design and get a new link.

1. Finish Your Pattern

Use the crochet pattern maker to make your custom pattern. When you’re happy with your design, colors and layout, you can click the Download button to start downloading the pattern.

2. Confirm Your Design

You will be asked to review the pieces you selected and confirm your design. Don’t worry! You’ll be able to return to your design after you download a PDF.

3. Select Your PDF

There are two options for your PDF:

1. Free PDF: Get the complete pattern (but no images or a crochet amigurumi guide)
2. Premium PDF: Get the complete pattern along with the images and a crochet amigurumi guide.

4. Choose Where to Send Your Pattern

Your custom PDF will be prepared and sent to your email right away. Let us know which email address to send your pattern to.

5. Receive Your Pattern

If you selected a premium PDF, you’ll receive your pattern as soon as you complete the secure online payment. Amigurumio accepts all major credit cards. If you don’t have a credit card, please save your pattern and send us a message. We’ll help you pay and receive your premium PDF.

If you selected a free PDF, you’ll receive your pattern as soon as you let us know what email to send your pattern to.

Here is what to do if you didn’t receive your email.

1. Check Your Spam Folder

Your email may have been filtered into your spam (or junk) folder. Please check to see if your email was sent to your spam folder.

If it was sent to your spam folder, you can minimize the chance that future emails will be sent to your spam folder by:

1. Marking the message as “Not Spam”
2. Adding hello@amigurum.io to your known sender list

After following these steps you still receive emails from Amigurumio to your spam, please send us a message.

2. Contact Support

We can check the logs and see why you didn’t receive your email. Contact support and send us the details of the email you were expecting.
